2025 Toyota Sienna Review

Throughout the Sienna, there are updates to the fit and finish. You can see and feel the difference on the dashboard, console and seats. Soft touches make it more welcoming for every passenger.

The multimedia system has been updated with the latest Toyota minivan technologies. A new digital gauge cluster turns the driver’s area into a true cockpit. 

Elevating the luxury of the Sienna Platinum, parents will appreciate a built-in vacuum cleaner to take care of messes. Even better, there’s a FridgeBox where you can tuck away juice boxes and other items you need daily.

For all of the spaciousness and graciousness of the 2025 Toyota Sienna, this minivan would be a winner based on its powertrain alone. The hybrid system generates 245 horsepower with its combined hybrid motor, hybrid battery, and gas engine.

With front-wheel drive, it earns 36 mpg in the city or on the highway. You can add all-wheel drive and still earn 35 mpg in combined driving. For short distances, you can utilize the electric system only, not using any gas at all.

The 2025 Sienna family driver has enough power for confident sprints. Even better, it has a Sport driving mode to give drivers some fun when the situation allows it.  

All-wheel drive adds a second electric motor that is linked to the rear wheels. When wheels are slipping, it can send up to 80 percent of the power to the rear wheels.  Although it has four-wheel drive capability, it doesn’t have a heavy transfer case or heavy driveshaft to slow it down.

A large gas tank allows it to enjoy one of the longest driving ranges among vehicles today. FWD Siennas can go up to 648 miles while AWD Siennas can go up to 630 miles on a single tank of gas. Plus these smart vehicles use regular gasoline, another way they keep costs down compared to some rivals. 

In addition to excellent warranties, a 2025 Toyota purchase or lease provides up to two years or 25,000 miles of scheduled maintenance. Roadside assistance is included during this period.  Complimentary subscriptions include a year of Remote Connect and ten years of Safety Connect with SOS Button.

Toyota has a convenient, stowable center-middle seat on 8-seat models like the Sienna LE. Everyone will be more comfortable with standard tri-zone automatic climate controls and second-row sunshades. 

Stepping up to the 2025 Sienna XLE, the Sienna gains dual power-slide side doors. The seats wear SofTex upholstery. An 8-way power passenger chair is paired with a power-adjustable passenger seat. The second row has captain's chairs with a Super-Long Slide capability.  Additional upgrades include the four-zone automatic climate system and the largest touchscreen. 

As an alternative, the LE Plus Package adds a moonroof, black roof rails, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. It also adds more speakers for the audio system. The Sienna XLE Plus Package adds a 12-speaker JBL audio system.

If you want a distinctive look, the XSE Sienna exterior provides a sporty vibe. Aggressive black mesh dresses up the grille and rear bumpers. Other blacked-out details on this Toyota minivan include door handle inserts, mirrors, and lower side rockers.

Sienna XSE models have seven SofTex seats, including power-adjustable, power-heated front seats. A sport-tuned suspension makes this ride more fun to drive. XSE Plus Packages add black roof rails and the 12-speaker JBL system.

2025 Sienna Woodland Editions come in distinctive colors with unique exterior style points. The premium interior is dressed in black sport fabric accented by caramel-tone stitching. 

Lush leather dresses the interiors of the 2025 Sienna Limited and Platinum models. The power-adjustable front seats gain power-ventilation for quick cooling during our hot summers. Second-row captain’s chairs gain ottomans for greater comfort.

Platinum trim levels have a FridgeBox built into the front center console. This keeps drinks and baby bottles cool, providing a convenient way to store your family’s snacks. This top trim also has a vacuum to help parents keep the cabin clean. Both of these parent-friendly features are available on the Limited model as well.

Additional favorites, standard or available on these trims, include kick-activated power-slide side doors and heated second row seats. An HD Entertainment Center is offered with wireless headphones and a remote control.

Every Sienna has a touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, HD Radio, live radio playback functions, a digital driver’s display, and a three-month SiriusXM subscription. Dual microphones improve Bluetooth call clarity. 

USB-C ports are available throughout the cabin for all passengers. A Qi wireless charger, a new standard, is the latest fifth-generation tech. With the available Wi-Fi Connect, Apple Music and Amazon Music can be streamed through the dash audio system.

Starting with the Sienna XLE, the Toyota minivan gains a 12.3-inch touch display.  These models also have a one-year subscription to Drive Connect. This provides access to the Toyota Intelligent Assistant. It also gives the driver access to Cloud Navigation and, when needed, Destination Assist live operators.

The XSE and higher trim levels also have a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. Platinum trim levels add a Head Up display.  These systems help drivers keep up with information from Road Sign Assist and other safety devices.

Toyota provides ten airbags and an umbrella of Safety Sense driver assistance. A pre-collision system watches for forward traffic dangers. It has been enhanced to see bicyclists and pedestrians in low light. A forward autobrake may be triggered when timing is critical.

Watching the sides, every Sienna has a lane departure alert, lane steering assist, and blind spot monitor.  Parking is easier with the rearview camera and rear cross-traffic alert.

Drivers can share the work with a lane tracing assist and full-speed radar adaptive cruise control. Parents can feel more at ease, knowing that there are rear outboard-seat airbags and rear passenger seatbelt alerts. A new rear seat reminder can signal the owner via the Toyota app as well as alert the driver.

Taking care of every rider, the Sienna offers 159.7 or 162.5 cubic feet of passenger space. It has a remarkable 38.7 inches of third-row legroom. Second-row passengers can enjoy 39.9 inches of legroom. 

Standard ground clearance is 6.3 inches, helping it rise above debris. The Woodland Sienna has 6.9 inches for even more clearance.  AWD models can pull up to 3,500 pounds.

With 33.5 cubic feet in the cargo hold, the Sienna has plenty of space for gear. With the seats folded, the space opens up to 75 or 101 cubic feet. To make it easy to switch between passengers and gear, many models have a Split & Stow 3rd Row® seat that operates in one easy motion.
